The Brand.

MakeMake began in 2009 as an idea formed from an over active brain.

We are serious about living a life with a form of detachment from the main stream and keeping things real, un-complicated, simple.

We have seen changes with in the Fashion industry, a huge consumer place were garments are churned out at a un-believable rate. Clothes being ripped off left right and centre to be sold to the masses who don't seem to care that the clothing they are wearing is simultaneously slotting them into an ultra commercial pigeon whole that we find …..bo0ooooring!

You will see it your self, clothing rail's stacked with the same garment, and a que of people waiting to get it because it is cheap and safe! No Thanks! We are not on this earth for long.

MakeMake produces items of clothing that work on a style concise level as well as being durable and well thought out.

The brand was created by Moot, a painter, designer and drawer and that is were it's principle lie's. The first line that start's the design process is the most important. Not following trend's and paying people to predict them.,…what is that about!

Keep thing's simple, stylish a true to your values, and you'll have your self something that is not only priceless but will also last forever.

The brand has history in all manner of independent activities, be it graffiti, surfing, skateboarding and music. This may sound generic of clothing culture, however you'd be surprised to find how many brand's claim to have heritage in these area's, but in fact have invented them selves out of thin air and clinged on to the urban/independent life style to cash in! Some call it business, I call it bull shit!

We have scowered the country in the early freezing air to hit good swell!
We have run from the law and argued are way through burocrassy to paint good wall's.
We have broken bones for a decade to shred the street's!
We have embraced the word's of others whilst nodding intently to there rhythm
We have never stopped drawing...
We have never stopped makeing

MakeMake intends to keep the brand fresh, by limiting our line's and creating garment's to a timetable that does not fit in with the norm. When it is ready it is ready! We have had experience with brand's rushing with the trend's, sure they make money, but they aren't making history!

We try to limit or lines to 100 item's per style, depending on manufacturing cost's etc...

So you can rest assured that when you by a MakeMake garment you have got your self a limited edition, 1 of a hundred peace of history, that MakeMake will stay true too.
